To brave souls of kargil war

Today we complete the 10th anniversary of kargil war am not sure what am i supposed to do here be happy for the victory or moan for losses encured.
this very day 26th july 1999 the fighting ceased at kargil and Indian troops emerged victorious.

During that time, the Kashmiri rebellious groups and Pakistan military personnel took control of some deserted, but strategic, Himalayan heights in Indian administered Kashmir. All those areas were either been vacated by the Indian army during the onset of bad weather conditions, or not occupied on the presumption that it would be madness, for Pakistan, to risk men in such a manner.
However, with the help of Pakistani army, the `Mujahideen` became successful to take control of several key areas like the heights overlooking the vital Srinagar Leh highway, Batalik, Dras and the strategic Tiger Hill.

Army, navy and air force personnel were called for immediate action with treacherous
conditions ,low food supply ,sub standard ammunition ,our forces fought with heart ,dignity and pride.
Indian troops gradually regained virtually all lost territories.but not without paying a cost.

They went as mere men& came back as heroes in coffins. Over a 530 of them at last count. Median age 19 to 35.more than 1000 injured.

My humble request to the politician pleases don't use them in your political warfare.
Give them there due respect they don't need money they need pride
so that our heroes don't have to struggle to give there families basic amenities and so that they don't have to fight for few hundred rupees ,give them there dues they earned it (even more than those high official in govt. who sits on chair of corruption and gulps hard earned tax payers money)
.

With tears in my eyes and grief in my heart my salute goes to the martyrs of war who fought till there last breath to ensure that we are safe in our homes.

"Bas itna yaad rahe ke ek sathi aur bhi tha"

To my country and my heroes
"VANDE MATRAM"
